Usage & API Key Management

Get access to your API key and review your API usage details.

Overview

The API Key overview section gives you access to your personal API key as well as summary of your recent usage on ZettaBlock. Specifically, you have the following details from the last 30 days of usage:

  • Total Compute Units Used - The sum of compute units for all calls, indexing, and data refresh for all your APIs and analytical queries.
  • Prepaid Compute Units - These units are a measure of the total computational resources available to your APIs for use.
  • Key Name - Name to identify your token
  • API Key - Required token for API calls.
  • Queries - Number of analytical queries submitted to the ZettaBlock data lake.
  • API Calls - Total number of API calls submitted to all APIs on your account.
  • Created time - The date when the API was created.

API Key Management

The API Key management section gives you access to your personal API key as well as details on any recent usage of your API and analytics components.

The section is made up of two main big number sections - API and Analytics. For the API section, you can review details on:

  • Number of Calls - Total number of API calls submitted to by your API.
  • Indexing CU - The compute units required for pre-indexing your API's dataset. This number is proportional to the data size and time length of the indexing.
  • Data Refresh CU - The units resourced to all dataset refreshing. These units are based on the size of the data scanned when refreshing your datasets.
  • Total Compute Units - The sum of compute units for all calls to your API as well as any data refreshing, and indexing.

For the Analytics section, you can review details on:

  • Number of Queries - Number of analytical queries submitted to the ZettaBlock data lake.
  • Compute Units - These units are a measure of the total computational resources available for your analytical queries to use.

At the bottom of the API management section, you should have access to review the breakdown of usage for each of your APIs.
